    Week 30 Proper Perspective

We do not know the day or hour, but one day Jesus Christ is coming back again to take us to be with Him forever. The Scriptures clearly tell us how we should live each day as we await His coming.

    1. Circle key words and phrases in the following Scriptures.

    * It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
    TITUS 2:12–13

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ.
    PHILIPPIANS 3:20

When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.
    COLOSSIANS 3:4–5

And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.
    1 JOHN 2:28

Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure.
    1 JOHN 3:2–3

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
    JOHN 14:1–3
