King Manasseh was quite bad, described as being worse than the surrounding nations in practice, you know, child sacrifice, temple prostitution, spilling innocent blood, profaning worship with phallic idols, yet he was forgiven.

I don't think this is a very well thought out answer.

The Devil starts his career by getting his ass kicked by God and chucked out of heaven. The next time he shows his face, it's to pick on a naked woman. Then God uses him as a lackey to take some sucker punches at Job. Finally, since he got beat up by God, he decides to challenge his kid Jesus to a brawl in the desert and gets whooped again.

Jezebel was quite bad Doc, wife of Ahab, she killed Gods prophets, set it up so that an innocent man was stoned to death for his field, set up phallic worship etc etc.

There's not biblical decree that prohibits my creative use of language daniel. I don't think I am in any particular need of forgiveness.
