This is the Old Earth Creationists view of Genesis held by Christians such as the Roman Catholic Church. The problem with this is that it is mixing lies and the truth together.

two are not incompatible and most Christians subscribe
to evolution (including the Vatican)

You are not a mainstream Christian and DO NOT represent anyone other than yourself

I guess your definition of a True Christian is someone who shares your
exact interpretation of the bible ... a small club a fear. The Church of Latter
Day Idiots is it? Or just call it Hindism.

RJ the truth is outside of believing that God did it and that is it mentality (which I do believe that) there is no perfect model to explain what we presently see out in the universe. Young Earthers have to contend with the apparent age of the earth and universe and the light time travel problem ( We can say with confidence that the universe is older than 6k light years or at least appears to be older that 6K ) and Old Earthers have to contend with the most literal interpretation of the bible being 6 literal days but the Hebrew word for day can /could be construed to mean age or epoch. I have a problem with the dishonesty of Creationist why not be honest and say we just don't know instead of making up stuff or having weak theories that get poked to hell when put to scrutiny. Even the big bang model has some major issues.

We don't try to change the interpretation to suit current beliefs of evilutionists. We believe God created everything with maturity as is reported in Genesis and it was done very quickly. We do not believe man was created as an embryo or fetus or a baby or a child, but as a mature man within a time period of one day, consisting of evening and morning. The same is true of the universe which is reported to have been done quickly and not over billions of years. Either one believes the Holy Bible or he doesn't. We young earthers have chosen to believe the Holy Bible.
