@FMF
if it was deleted it would not be there.
perhaps i meant "closed", like a house with a locked door and not a demolished ( deleted ) house.
@mister-moggy saidcomments must be posted to threads on a regular basis or they will automatically be closed
all very gentlemanly posts.
why was it closed ?
Thread 183096, while marginally interesting, was ultimately sorted to the dustbin as nobody cared enough to bump it up
when i went to the faq to find out how long a thread will last if nobody posts i could find no information
do you really care about the church of lds requirements and recommendations?
lol,
i ask a question like *i* really care about the answer

@mister-moggy saidAll threads get 'closed' once they have been dormant for three months.

The whole raison d'etre for Thread 142156 ~ starting halfway down page 1 and sustained by Ponderable's sterling efforts for the last 8 years ~ is pinned upon the automatic 3-month cut-off.
@ponderable saidrookie54 didn't know.
Actually two month (60 days)
I thought I knew.
You knew you knew and now we know too.
@mister-moggy saidOf course it's closed. And there's no mystery as to why.
@FMF
my point is correct.
the post was "closed" and not "deleted".
@mister-moggy saidAnd if you had cared enough about it to post in it and not let it languish for the full 60 days, perhaps it would still be open.
@FMF
my point is correct.
the post was "closed" and not "deleted".
@fmf saidThe last post in Thread 183692 was on the 14th of January and that thread is closed. The last post in Thread 183710 was on the 15th and is still open at the time of posting. Because February had 29 days this year that's exactly 60 days as well as being exactly 2 months. So unless Ponderable has some reason to think that it goes on number of days rather than number of months, there's some doubt. I'm assuming he did what I did and took a look at page 2 of the forum to see when the last thread to be closed was closed.
