When we die does our conciousness at the time of death continue with the soul?
Science can explain this as the brain switching channel when it realises all natural hope of survival is lost. This "dream" will be the last thing switched off and then you're dead. It cannot explain how come some of those NDE cases have reported details about the scene of the accident that they couldn't possibly have known about since their eyes were closed and hearing is not enough to derive that information (such as the colour of a witness' jacket, or where everyone stood in relation to each other).
What do I believe? I believe that NDE is just the brain switching off conciousness when it serves no purpose anymore, and that those who remember details are hoaxes (perhaps given information by the interviewer). I believe the soul is merely a hap-hazard construct of the brain and when we die we really die.

I don't; but at least I'm not summarily rejecting the idea without giving it any consideration or scrutinizing the evidence -- which is what you seem to be doing.
Originally posted by stockenBe that as it may, your counterarguments given in your first post seemed a little convenient and IMO tenuous.

Astrological concepts have been proven scientifically.
Serial killers can be identified through their astrological birth chart.
