Evolution is not needed for science. Science can move along much better without that false teaching as baggage.

But Christianity needs Creation, because in Christianity, the Christ is also identified as the Creator God. And without the fall of man by sinning against the Creator God, there would be no need for a Savior to atone for the sins of mankind and to defeat death and destruction.

I doubt if any Christian really believes in the complete theory of evolution. However, some believe in what is termed as microevolution.
