For example i was listening to a radio program in which a rather right wing American evangelist termed Islam as not a religion but as a cult. On these very forums, Christianity has also been termed a cult, usually without much regard for what t ...[text shortened]... term actually means. So what are the definitive characteristics of a cult, this is my question.

Notice that robbie's story about Mark Hunter offers no analysis of Mark Hunter's reasons for leaving the JW organization other than what robbie describes as Mark Hunter's "negativity".

LOL, you know i am not a great fan of Lennon, even at this very moment I am playing PES as Motherwell, the only other Scottish team in the game as far as i can see, i have an awesome line-up, Vagner Love, Van Persie, Tabanou, Jordi Gomez, Jemal, Rosina, Rau Patricio to name but a few!

Your're correct that I am not a Witness, and I have zero I interest of being a Witness, but what does that have to do with anything we're discussing? You're not a scientist yet that doesn't stop you blathering on about science which contradicts your religio g their testimony as I don't wish for it to sow any seeds of doubt in my mind'.
this thread is not about me and I resent any incursions, references to, insinuations that, intimations which state that it is. As i stated if you wish to feed your mind on negativity that is your business, I choose not to.

Are Arsenal an English team? well then, they are as English a team as Motherwell are Scottish. Salvio just scored for me, who da man! I wanna buy Di Maria, i had Falcao and Higuaín, but got rid of them, they were not prolific enough for my ambitions.

whut? the Bible does not speak of potential homosexuals, it mentions only the act of actually engaging in homosexual activity. after all, is a theif a theif because he wants to steal something, or is he defined by the act of stealing?

Hearing both sides of a story is 'feeding on negativity'? So much for a balanced perspective.

And yet you have been trying to make this thread about how you personally reckon people who disagree with you, or take exception to your behaviour, do so out of "hatred" for you.

Again these are your words, not mine. Rarely if ever do ex witness sites ever produce a balanced perspective, why? because its simply not in their interests to do so.

Just of interest, did you ever sit down with Mark Hunter and have a conversation with him to find out what his issues were?

so you think a person only becomes a homosexual once they are having homosexual sex? before that they are 'potential homosexuals'

before you had sex with a women were you a 'potential' hetrosexual, using your logic i guess you would also be a 'potential homosexual'.
