ISRAEL—Jesus was the master of dissing his theological foes, from calling the Pharisees a "brood of vipers" to telling the moneychangers in the temple that they had turned God's house into a "den of thieves."

But textual scholars have discovered a new insult Jesus slung at the religious leaders of the day: "dog-faced pony soldiers."

According to researchers, the Messiah slammed the Pharisees for their hypocrisy and self-righteousness after they confronted him with their questions, declaring, "You're a dog-faced pony soldier!" and then challenging them to a push-up contest. "Let's go, me and you, right now." Jesus, of course, won the push-up contest with ease, as he holds the universe together by the mere force of his will.

At publishing time, scholars also confirmed Jesus bravely confronted gluttons by shouting out, "Listen, fatty!"

My personal favorite is Jesus calling the Pharisees morons.

BTW, wasn't it "lying-dog-faced-pony-soldiers"?

Do you mean like the dems do? Case in point, the impeachment?

On national television a few days ago I watched the democratic debates. They called Trump some terrible things. I could feel the hate. Very presidential of them.

Hasn't the meaning of "presidential" been redefined in your country in the last few years?

You got it Mr. Obvious. The meaning of just about everything is changing. Thanks to the purveyors of change.

But don't worry, they'll be changing their minds soon enough.

Do you see your president as "very presidential"?

Do you welcome all future presidents of your country being "presidential" in a way that's similar to this one?

The impeachment was a constitionally recommended solution to a problem. That you don't see it that way proves how much your mind has been twisted by this president. You do understand that the anti-christ will be similarly popular for many of the same wrong reasons, don't you?

What "terrible things" did they call him?

Did anyone stoop so low as to call him an "ashole"?

I haven't seen "presidential" since JFK, Regan and possibly Obama in my lifetime.

I think Trump is trying, but some of his stuff is questionable, and I doubt there's a man or woman with the character and integrity of presidential caliber anywhere in this land coming to the fore in the foreseeable future.

I "see" clearly. The impeachment of Trump was a political circus. I have little or no faith in our government to solve the problems that plague our land.

Many anti-christ types have reared their ugly heads throughout history "for many of the same wrong reasons". Sometimes it's difficult to tell the difference between the sinners and the saints.

This world is the devil's playground. It's our choice who's directing our path. Many are self-deceived. Others are automatons. Few walk the narrow way.

You seem to be saying here that some those who oppose Trump are “anti-Christ types”, is that correct?

On your side of the aisle, Mitt Romney would exhibit presidential character and integrity if he were to be elected to the Oval Office, his beliefs and policies notwithstanding.
