@suzianne saidOf course not.
So, in your eyes, Ukraine is Israel?
Not following you here.
Read Ezekiel 38&39.
I would have thought more people would be more familiar with Ezekiel. What is described in those two chapters is a war that occurs prior to or near the beginning of the "70th week" of Daniel. Some think it describes Armageddon, but the details don't match the description given in Revelation. There's another alternative view as well.
@josephw saidIs the alternative view that seeking such parallels is a nonsense?
Of course not.

How many previous wars have been linked with such biblical ramblings?
@josephw saidI have read Ezekiel numerous times.

It speaks of the end times. I don't see how you can say "we're seeing the unfolding of Ezekiel's prophecy happening in real time right before our eyes."
It speaks of nations joining together to defeat Israel. Unless Ukraine is Israel, I don't see how this is happening now.
@josephw saidI could be wrong, but I don't think so.
They are always saying show us the evidence, show us the proof.
I think we're seeing the unfolding of Ezekiel's prophecy happening in real time right before our eyes.
I could be wrong, but I don't think so.
I'd be careful with this. Jesus cautioned his disciples against trying to predict when the end times would be.

@mchill saidThats the most popular Christian pastime for the last 2000 yrs, and they have been wrong for 2000 yrs but they will never learn.

@mchill saidI'm not "trying to predict" anything. I simply opened a discussion about current events and the possibility that what Ezekiel said would happen in chapters 38 and 39 correspond.
I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

You are mistaken about what Jesus "cautioned" his disciples about.
@rajk999 saidMost popular? Just more of your bigotry.

Christians have been preaching Christ crucified for our salvation for two thousand years, and you still don't get it.
@mchill saidWhen Jesus was on this Earth in the flesh, even He said, that He did not know when these things would take place; when He was asked by His disciples.
I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

"36“But about that day and hour no one knows, neither the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."
@suzianne saidWith the information Jesus gave his disciples when they asked what will be the signs at the end of the age, do you think that if this is the end of the age would you recognize those signs?
I have read Ezekiel numerous times.

Do you see any prophecy being fulfilled in our day?

No. The alternative view is that the battle described in Ezekiel 38&39 is referring to a battle that occurs at the end of the millennium when Satan is released from the bottomless pit to deceive the nations one last time.
"How many previous wars have been linked with such biblical ramblings?"
It's a menagerie of incoherent predictions and misinterpretations.
So what? I'm not making a prediction. I'm simply looking at Ezekiel 38&39 and questioning whether or not what is happening on a global scale, specifically in the region of the Ukraine bordering Russia north of Israel, is in any way indicative of the possibility of a buildup to the battle described.
Obviously as an unbeliever you don't have anything substantive to contribute to that discussion, but don't feel too bad because even divegeester, who claims to be a believer, doesn't either.
