Ok, ok. Yea, so our skin color doesn't matter. Maybe in theory. Maybe in an ideal, utopian society. And I know you're "the Game" and all, but let's not play anymore games. Don't you even try to "hustle" me. N**ga is a derogatory term. And though we may all be "black" in God's eyes (though I would dispute that also), in skin tone, you're ...[text shortened]... your vocabulary. It's offensive and racist. We both know you're white (in reality, at least).
Where's Prad?

'Nigga' is neither derogatory nor laudatory. It is a just a couple of
phonemes. What makes it insulting or not is context.

In contrast with many people on this site, I am not white, but Latino.
Having worked in Washington Heights in New York City, which is a
predominantly Domincan neighborhood, I can assure you that the
term 'nigga' was used in a variety of ways: as praise (yo, ma nigga,
wazup), to demonstrate incredulity (nigga, please), shock (damn,
nigga, you got a sweet ass), and so many other shades of meaning
that I couldn't begin to ennumerate them.

Many people who made up the community there were entirely 'brown,'
some 'brown with black,' some 'brown with white' and 'white latinos.'
The term was used by and at all of those 'skin tones.' And, never
once, did anyone blush or stammer.

So, you are wrong. It is not necessarily a derogatory term. It is a just
a word. MF Pirp's context indicates quite clearly that it is not being
used in a racially discriminatory way, but, instead, in the idiomatic way
I described above. You can expect that if MF Pirp said something
like 'Jesse Jackson is just some dumb n**ga,' I would be the first to
chastise him. But that is not what happened, irrespective of your
hangups.

So, if you can't deal with the term used in that context -- one of
idiom -- then that's your problem, not MF Pirp's.

I have a story to go with that one, actually, but I can guarantee
that the colorful language which accompanies it will get it removed
and me banned.

Yea, you guys are right. While we're at it, I guess we should include a*****e, f****r, g*****a, s**c, w*****k, b****r, c********r, c*****r, j****g, etc. etc. I mean, they dont necessarily have to have a negative connotation. It all depends on the context. You guys taught me a valuable lesson. Thank you.

You must be one of those idiots who supports banning books like
The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

Live in your Fahrenheit 451 all you want. Thank goodness people
of vision know better than to listen to your blather.

Are you going to provide and argument, or are you just going to
try to deflect attention from your backwards, moronic attitude by
joking?

Are all those words with ********** in them supposed to represent racial or ethnic slurs? I don't get any of them except s**c. I guess I have to start going back to the KKK meetings.

What are you blabbering on about? I have no argument. As I already stated, I agree with you. But you happen to be right about Mark Twain. I love to stunt the growth of imagination. If I had it my way, I would simply burn all of his books. Startling the imagination is never a good thing. It could lead to certain traditions and beliefs being broken. We can't have that. There is already too much of it going around. Back to the basics, I say. Where everyone knows his place.
