Hamsters have their own purpose ~ and perhaps derive some rudimentary pleasure or contentment ~ from exercising on hamster wheels and they get to govern their own speed. Humans do the same with the more elaborate human equivalents of hamster wheels and each individual can define what satisfaction they get. Pleasure, contentment, purpose, self-governance, exercise and satisfaction. Sounds alright to me.

When it comes down to it, life is all about the cheese and how much we can stuff into our cheeks.
