Not really that clear on the whole "following Jesus" thing, are you?

@Suzianne
Jesus was a stonecutter who may have developed a idea about a social plan called the "kingdom of God" which was a the idea that society would change from a change of heart within yourself.

not a religion, a new social contract born out of a new self-realization.

First of all, Jesus was a carpenter, as was Joseph.

And it wasn't his idea. But he saw the value in following his father's plan. Despite enduring much trauma, not for his own sake, but for ours.

@Suzianne
a carpenter ? show me the wooden houses, barns, temples made of wood.

houses were built of stone.

or are you going to alter your remark by saying that jesus was a furniture maker and had a store selling tables and chairs ?

And he went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him.
And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.

But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.
And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.
And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

-- Mark 6:1-6, KJV

Little wood unless imported, from Lebanon, stone cutting was the main trade in his area, the word carpenter was more likely meaning tradesman, builder, creator. The Catholic Church has even said this.

and Jesus did not feed the 5,000 via a miracle. many came to hear him talk, some brought lunch. Jesus demonstrated the concept of sharing by inviting those who had "bread and fish" to share with those next to them who had not brought lunch,
thus the "5,000" were fed by way of example.
