Then my honest answer is that it depends on your starting point.

If you are 4 feet six then clearly this isn't the case?

Well you see, I am basing the concept on what is written. The meaning of the words alone, not my opinion.

I'll give you another if I may ..... very pertinent to the current world situation

Proverbs 14:15 "The inexperienced one believes anything, but the sensible one watches his steps."

In other words - do due diligence ?
Sounds like good advice to me.

I spoke plainly.

If there is a qualification involved, then only those who meet the qualification are being talked about.

In the case of the original post, only people shorter than 5 feet can be called short.
You spoke simply, rather than plainly. It's the reason you struggle with finding a deeper understanding and why you frequently misunderstand scripture.

I think that this establishes their existence. I'll sort the other stuff out when I can grab a minute.

These are interesting links in relation to whether or not the Canaanites were indeed wiped out by the Israelites, but my primary question is whether there is external evidence that validates they were an evil race deserving of genocide. You have spoken about their child sacrifices etc matter of factly, but outside of the Bible, where has this been validated?

So I take it that you believe the genocide described in Deuteronomy 20 is good.

The hypocrisy of claiming Jesus is good, but the God of the Old Testament is evil knows no bounds. It is a reflection of a heart with the spirit of Satan.
Right up there with the hypocrisy of a Christian saying they follow Jesus and then turning around and calling another Christian a child of Satan.

Paul called other Christian leaders of his day wolves in sheep's clothing. Fake Christian's teaching Satan's lies has been part of Christianity from the beginning.

What reason would God have for ordering homosexuals executed? You said there was a good reason, what possible good could come from that?

I'll ask again. You do realize that the Mosaic Laws were written about 3500 years ago, yes?

Yes and they were written with God's instruction, yes?

If I make this claim...

In all the world you will find short people. Short people can be recognized by being an adult less than 5 feet tall.

Does this claim say that all the people around the world when adults are less than 5 feet tall? I do not think so, but perhaps some around here do. I am just wondering.
So as you know yourself the claim is ridiculuos, especially if it would come from a person longer than 5 feet.

Now what?

Of course the claim is ridiculous. I was pointing out the stupidity of the claim Romans 2 claim God is in the heart of all people.

Thanks for pointing out the stupidity of the claim.

Do you even understand that they were written by the same guy who wrote the Creation story and the Flood story?

But aren't you the one claiming that the entire Bible is the literal Word of God?
