Everyone please check this out. This is from my uncle's church in Ft. Collins, CO. It's only ten minutes long.

What are you hoping someone like me will get from that? It's an interesting story. It's powerful in the sense that it tugs at our emotional centers. But there's a reason why there is a fallacy commonly called "appeal to emotion", and surely nothing in that video constitutes grounds for belief. Beyond that, it seems like she was a really sweet, courageous girl.

Did I hear him right that Hope's father who died had a brother that married Hope's mother? I honestly couldn't tell much difference between the video and Oprah.

I think it was his best friend, actually.

Yes, and according to Pastor Brent in the video, this best friend also happened to be his brother -- as indicated by Kirksey.

What a wonderful opportunity to talk about Onan in church. We don't hear enough sermons about Onan. That guy should be there to tell his testimony.

I hear you loud and clear. Onan is an interesting study.

In the video epi posted, I didn't see anything that discusses the brother's attitude toward knocking up his new wife. So yeah it would be interesting to bring him in and hear his thoughts on such things.

Like I said, take from it what you will. But this is quite telling...
