I knew that, but the "one gene" comment was phrased differently. I studied biochemistry in school and am really into evolution so I found this different comment interesting. It's different if each of our genes is 1% different from the corresponding gene, and something completely different if we have the same genome but just have one extra gene that changes us from chimp to human!
