For Jews saturday is a day of rest and no work.
For christians sunday is a day of prayer and no work?(I am assuming so correct me if I am wrong)

Clearly the NFL, National Football League, is run by Jews.

I love sunday Football.

Yes there is a game on monday night and thursday night but sunday has many games all day.

So if shabbat was on sunday instead of saturday I would miss all those great games.

Shabbat=No electricity etc etc

So Jews run the NFL.

think the sabbath is from noon saturday to noon sunday. most christians do have it from midnight to sunday midnight, this was to differentuate between the two. but some catholic [roman] do have there service saturday night, more to do with not enough priests.

This has been a problem for Jewish baseball players in the past. Hank Greenberg. Sandy Koufax. They had to struggle between playing for their team or observing the sabbath. For them, the sabbath won.
