It might surprise or gratify you to know that I have been thinking of pizza or microwave lasagna for my next meal.

The short answer is "no" you're not writing from too far outside of things. IMO however you're wasting your time, posting what looks like a series of disconnected statements, mixing elements of psychobabble, crackpot religion, and philosophical drivel.

Suggestion: Pack up your little beads, crystals, mortar and pestle, tarot cards and other related paraphernalia in a box and store them away, then find something useful to do with your energy. Start a business, do some volunteer work for your community, become a stronger chess player. You're not a teenager anymore. The hippies from the 1960's learned long ago, that much as we would like to, we're not going to float through life on the wings of some philosophical or crystal enriched Karma trip. No offence intended, but maybe it's time to grow up.

Indeed.

Doing volunteer work for the community has an amazing value in allowing one to focus on the needs of others besides oneself. This often results in true healing of the soul.

Recommended. 4 stars.

Sorry, but I don't feel so much offended as disappointed.

"Crystals"?

However, I do appreciate that you were perhaps knowingly writing a post that might to some extent undermine itself, especially if one were to take the long view as one struggles to endure the tedium of typing one letter after another.

On my side, I think it would be kind of doofusly incorrect to hope you were not affected by the recent flooding in the NW (as if others didn't exist and/or you were more worthy of consideration). However, nonetheless, and leaving all of that aside:

Wishing you and yours a happy and healthy New Year!

On the other hand I do have a memory, and regarding the post above by @Lonestranger in reply to my post about lasagna, he wrote something like "Lasagna sounds amazing!" or something like that.

How petty must one be, either as a regular member or as a moderator, to have alerted and then to have deleted such a post?

Thank goodness there are so many poor losers in the community, so that others might gratify themselves with their help from above.

It's quite an interesting ecology, isn't it? The moon, the tides, the seasons . . .

Poor losers? How dare you. The biggest losers aren't the poor.

As a returning banned user, he was banned again, thus all his posts were removed.

Please stop trying to hold yourself above the crowd by making stuff up about others. You're never right.

Don't piss on people's legs and then tell them it's raining. Like you're doing them a favor.

- - Not at all, I was writing a post, not to undermine anything, but to perhaps give you some guidance on the better use of your time.

On my side, I think it would be kind of doofusly incorrect to hope you were not affected by the recent flooding in the NW.
- - I'll let you in on a little-known secret: Those like me who grew up in the NW look outside and see a typical winter, nothing more. I'm afraid melodrama has seeped into the world of weather reporting, and newly minted terms such as "atmospheric rivers" are what we look upon as simply...rain. The locals here walk, run, bike, and paddle their Kayaks in it daily without a 2nd thought.

Thank You for your New Years wishes - And to you too. 🙂
