To think that any human is strong, compared to the insignificant and finite existence man has compared to everything else in the universe, is blatantly absurd.
Man knows he is weak and stupid, much like sheep by electing or appointing those to lead them in government, etc.. In fact, that is how the Bible describes humanity, as sheep.
The real issue then is not how strong we are, the issue is how weak we are and who do we appoint for ourselves a shepherd and who or what do we look to for our collective salvation?

That's why we invented the gods.
That's why we invented the gods.
Don't you think we should then find out who invented Jesus, made Him up, put words in His mouth, concocted deeds He did, and regard that person as wisest mind that ever lived ?
Who's imagination to do you credit for the creation of history's Jesus of Nazareth? Some Galilean fisherman ?
@sonship saidPaul wasn't a "Galilean fisherman". He was almost certainly a Roman operative. The religion he founded sidelined the Jews. The account of Jesus' purported life was written - I'd say concocted - decades after he was executed. And then there was the ludicrous Revelation added later.

@sonship saidHuman imagination and human story telling is far older than your religion .
