But but but...! 🙂

Been here for 8 years, studied and now working. The city is great, not as
cosmopolitan as Manchester or other bigger cities, but its getting there.

Now the complicated part. Been a resident in the UK for 13 years. I was
born in Damascus 29 years ago, though originally am from Palestine.
However, I spent my childhood in Kuwait.

Don't blame me, you asked for it..!

What are you doing in Togo? whats it like there?..
Well there's an interesting answer! So you'e Palestinian-Syrian with Kuwaiti links. That's a good response.

Manchester could perhaps at times over-do it's cosmopolitan aspect, in my opinion. But it's a friendly city. Never been to Newcastle. Would love to go.

Here? Why it's Togorific!

And British, yes.

Lucky you, I bet its nice and warm down there. If you ever get bored and back in the UK, then welcome to visit Newcastle.

... are you really in Togo?

Would I be wearing the national costume if I weren't?

Debatable.

I assume you are not originally from there, and seeing that you know
Manchester, I also assume you are British. Is that right?

What are you doing there? holiday? working? went for a walk one fine
morning and somehow found yourself on the African continent? 🙂

British? That's like me thinking you were Israeli...

EDIT: Although, not really... I like to nip over to England on my holidays. I'm half English, actually. Well, a quarter English, a quarter New Zealand English, and a quarter and another quarter Irish.

Sure I was only joking, really. Probably shouldn't, given the state of the world. I am born and bred in Ireland, so I'd consider myself Irish.

I know, just slagging. I mostly have a great time when I'm over there. There are some great things about England. It's a great country.

Would you call yourself British, Peachy, or what would you say your nationality is?

British and proud of it.

However, am a Palestinian too and have strong feelings with regards to all that is happening in the Middle East.

So you should on both counts.

Know you have my own support, for what it counts, and that of the vast majority of the citizens of Europe.
