God. We had lots of them, and then monotheism was this new invention. But why do we want god to be all alone? Are humans dick-heads?
HalleluYah !!! Praise the Lord! Glory be to God! Holy! Holy! Holy!

You're aware you sound slightly insane, right?
The obvious answer is that human opinions do not "sentence" God to anything. He is and was, long before He created us. In fact, He created us to be with Him. Too bad the serpent and Adam kinda messed that up.
Why do you assume God has to measure up to our standards? Our standards are obviously flawed. It is we who have to measure up to God's standards, but Man is sinful, and must overcome this to be with God again. He even helped Man out by sending His Son to pay the sin debt. But no, Man is self-important and has placed himself above God (see your first words "we make it all up" ). Most men are indeed "unclear on the concept".

Yet with full foreknowledge of how things would go, God went ahead with the project. That's a clue that the ultimate outcome will be satisfying to God and will be turn out better than any other possible project would. At least the story makes more sense to me that way.

The outcome *will* be glorious, just wait and see.
