Last week, following Michele Bachmann’s win at the Iowa straw poll and Gov. Rick Perry’s official presidential announcement, the pair were compared to biblical figures: King Saul, the people’s choice, and King David, God’s choice.

Peter Waldron, who does outreach for Bachmann’s campaign, said on his Facebook page: “From afar and in prayer I see a Saul and David scenario between Perry and Bachmann. One looks everything like a king while the other is anointed.”

As a Christian I find their views an embarrassment to Christianity.

That is the way politics is. It should be an embarrassment to everyone
not just Christians.
