It will never get implemented.

It's far too obviously easy to abuse.

Swiss Gambit had the right answer in the original thread:

Don't we already have an 'Alert Moderator' button?

The optimal solution is an "ignore posts" feature, similar to orangutan's "gbaway" script.

Maybe the Moderator needs to be a bit more active about clarifying and imposing some decent forum rules though.
