In other words, you're saying everyone is partisan (though no one can provide proof of this assertion in my case) but only the Christian forum should be punished.

Typical.

This is not a christian forum. As you may have noticed, it's a forum for arguing about religion. That means that as many pro-secular posts get made as pro-religious ones. As most people who post in this forum are indeed partisan, it would work both ways. I wouldn't get any recs for my insightful and well reasoned arguments against religious superstition, and you wouldn't get any recs for your stilted, intellectually bankrupt, christian propoganda. You see how that works?

Yes, I see the Christian viewpoint would be restricted to a recless forum and the secular viewpoint has free reign and recing priviliges in that scenario.

Come on now, don't get too petulant. Or Santa won't bring you any presents.

What is a secular viewpoint in your opinion? Any post that doesn't specifically endorse christianity? So all the posts in the clan forum and the tournament forum, for example, are secular posts? In the broadest sense of the term I suppose they are, because they don't deal with religion at all. But the only explicitly secular posts are made in this forum.

I would propose that no one would receive any recs for posts in this forum. You are understandably reluctant to endorse this plan because you would never receive another rec. The fact is that all 91 of your recs are partisan recs. Every single one. If it wasn't for your christian allies patting you on the back all the time, you wouldn't have a single rec. Ivanhoe would probably have only 50 recs. Of course it works for me as well. Without the recs I've received for my pro-secular posts I would have quite a bit fewer as well. But unlike you, Darfius, I'm capable of making some rec worthy posts outside this forum and would still have a respectable total built up.

I just wanted to put the hypocrisy out for all to see.
Who says we don't agree with him?

Rec'ed!

But what if he had a book all about Santa? A book which had been written by the elves who had worked with Santa? A book which proved that Santa not only existed, but was responsible for annual pressie distribution. A book which contradicted any facts you might put forward.

Message from Santa:

Dear debaters,

"I'm very honoured to see my little person being discussed in a "Spirituality" forum on a chess site. This proves you all are very broadminded people indeed.
I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart, however I can't imagine why some of you are not prepared to accept my existence. Who do you think makes all the money each year for all those shrewd businessmen ...... the phantom of the opera ? I am more real than some of you ever will be ......

Rudolph sends his love.

See you next Christmas !

From Santa with Love.

Are you saying I am incapable of debating? And your level of maturity shows when you cannot rec a good post simply because you differ in beliefs. I've rec'd any post I found to be solid, Christian or not. I guess it's a testament to the kind of men we are, rwing.

Yeah, sure you have. I bet you're just passing out recs to us heathens like they were going out of style. I bet you've given me the exact same number of recs that I've given to you. None. I did give Ivanhoe a rec once, though.

I think you're an articulate person. Certainly more so than RBHill. You're certainly capable of debating, but no, I don't think you're a particularly good debater. Certainly not rec worthy. Your posts cater to a very specific audience and you will only get recs from that demographic. You have absolutely no appeal beyond the small but vocal fundamentalist cadre that has somehow gotten the mistaken notion that the Spirituality forum is their private domain.

I understand Rwingo, there are things too horrible to remember. A bad memory also gets me through life ...😛
