This is a video about a neuroscientist who had a stroke 12 years ago, taking 8 years to make a full recovery but as a scientist, studied what happened to her minute by minute. VERY recommended.

Energy fields, and the like. I still wonder what her experience would have been like if her attack had been in the right brain instead. The analytical part would have been spared so she would still have language skills but the spacy part of her brain would have been gone temporarily.
