Some of the Christians I meet with love to make songs out of Bible verses.

You may visit this website and enjoy some of our handiwork:

Some were recorded recently and some decades ago. So the recording style and clarity vary:

We need, as human beings, to be saturated with the word of God.
The age coming is going to be incredibly difficult.
We need to read the word.
We need to pray over the word.
We need to sing the word, recite the word, praise God with and in His word.

Okay, look at it this way. If you were Jew just before the rise of Hitler, and you knew what was coming, your would certainly either take flight or fortify your soul for survival.

Hardly any have an idea of what is coming on this world. We need our minds and our hearts filled richly with the word of God. (No I am not just pushing some songs).

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly. Speaking to one another is Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with your heart to the Lord.

Now I want some of you skeptics to go outside your front door and just whisper to yourself this biblcal phrase a few times until the Holy Spirit lets it sink into you:

"the great tribulation, the GREAT TRIBULATION"

That's whats coming. We need to be filled with the word of God in the Bible.

How tasteless this comparison / analogy is!

Historically, if you were a Christian and saw what was coming to the Jews, what DID happen? Pastor Martin Niemoller gave the answer to that hard question:

First They Came - Pastor Martin Niemoller

First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist
Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew

Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

I've known about this quote for a long time.

I like it.

Tasteless comparison ?
Define just what you are looking for as being more "tasty" to your pallet.
You need a more humanistic "flavor" or something?

The rise of Atheism in Europe. Just where do you think it is going to lead ?
Greater tolerance for Christ lovers like myself ?

Dietrich Bonhoeffer spoke out.

“To understand reality is not the same as to know about outward events. It is to perceive the essential nature of things. The best-informed man is not necessarily the wisest. Indeed there is a danger that precisely in the multiplicity of his knowledge he will lose sight of what is essential. But on the other hand, knowledge of an apparently trivial detail quite often makes it possible to see into the depth of things. And so the wise man will seek to acquire the best possible knowledge about events, but always without becoming dependent upon this knowledge. "

The invoking of 'Godwins Law' didn't take long.

Okay, exchange "Jew" for African on the West Coast of Africa towards the beginning of the Atlantic Slave Trade.

Exchange "Jew" for Native American after the settling of Jamestown.

The rising tide of Atheism in Europe especially, is paving the way for the coming Antichrist.

If he comes in your life time you too may be forced to worship him or die.
Or, not buy or sell anything to survive.

It wasn't the Jew comparison, it was the reference to Hitler and the Nazis. This is Godwin's Law -

"As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1."

As for the Antichrist, thanks for the headsup.

In ' Bhagawat ', a sacred book of the Hindus, Narada,a sage, asks the Lord where the devotees are to look for Him in times of trouble,he was answered ' I will be where my devotees will be gathered to sing songs in devotion. '
