Pat Robertson claims the Haitian earthquake is due to some obscure pact with the devil made hundreds of years ago, suggesting that Haiti is a 'heathen' country in need of a "great turning to God."

FYI: Haiti is 83.7% Christian.

Or, in other words, 83.7% more Christian than Pat Robertson.

Doesn't he blame every natural disaster on the wrath of God?

I hope there's a voodoo doll down there with his name on it.

Natural and unnatural.

He joined Fallwel in blaming the 9/11 attacks on god's response to homosexuals, liberals and the ACLU.

You failed to mention that voodoo is very popular in Haiti and many people who profess to be "Christians" also are involved in voodoo which is satanic. Many people who profess to be Christians are not true Christians according to what the Bible teaches about God's gift of salvation and eternal life which is received by praying to God that he or she is a sinner, repenting of sin, and trusting Jesus Christ completely as Lord and Savior.

So you agree that this earthquake is god's punishment of Haiti?

Voodoo is not satanic. That shows a gross ignorance of what satanism is.

Pagan, perhaps; not satanic.

God's gift of salvation and eternal life is received through the sacrifice of Jesus of Nazareth, not the drivel you cite. I suppose you forgot about that minor detail, being a True Christian and all.

Years ago, telerion set the protocol on here for the phrase “True Christian”, as you are using it here. It is—

True Christian

😉

EDIT: Or maybe it was Starrman...

So? The same could be said about America. Many of the 78% who claim to be Christian aren't practicing Christians. That's still no reason to assume that any tragedy which befalls us is God's punishment. Pat claims to speak for God and he's a liar. He should keep his personal opinions to himself.

Yes Jesus shed His blood on the cross to make atonement for the sins past, present and future of all who trust in Him for salvation and eternal life. I never forget about that.

It seems as though Californians are the most wicked. Of coures, we all know that they made a deal with the devil long ago for all that nice weather. 😛

Didn't he also say that a Gay Pride rally caused 9/11 and Ellen deGeneres caused Katrina?
