Are you referring to disagreements in places of worship, or something more drastic? IMHO - If its disagreements or debates, then yes, it's morally sound, if its physical confrontations and loss of life and limb then it is not morally sound.

I think American Christian conservatives, not all of them, but certainly in their droves, have been radicalized over the last 40 years. This appears to be culminating. Reportedly, the "impending civil war" is being talked about more and more from the pulpit, in sermons etc.
