My feelings as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded only by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God's truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter. ...[text shortened]... edit : He seemed to have thought he was , that ain't exactly Marx and Engels material

You, froggy, provided a link claiming this ..... remember ?

    http://www.nobeliefs.com/speeches.htm

    From the site you gave:

"The Christianity of Hitler revealed in his speeches and proclamations"

    Compiled by Jim Walker

    Originated: 27 Feb. 1997

Through subterfuge and concealment, many of today's Church leaders and faithful Christians have camouflaged the Christianity of Adolf Hitler and have attempted to mark him an atheist, a pagan cult worshipper, or a false Christian."

If one tries to prove the "fact" that Hitler was a Christian by quoting his speeches and his writings one should carefully study the 1937 encyclical which exposes him and shows him for what he really is. A person who "denies, despises and hates" God.
One shouldn't accept and mistake the image of a devote Christian Hitler sold to the world by means of the National-Socialist propaganda in order to deceive the world for what he really was and still is, a deceiver and a liar of truly gigantic proportions.

.... and that's why the site you gave, "The Christianity of Hitler revealed in his speeches and proclamations", is one big lie .... Hitler's lie.

There are still people willing to buy Hitlers posing and his lies, because they can use these lies in discrediting the Christian Faith and in particular the Roman-Catholic Church. In ...[text shortened]... tler's lies. However that doesn't seem to bother those fighters for truth, justice and reason.
You think asserting your opinion that he "POSED" changes the fact that regardless of how the Pope (with good reason) described the Nazi's, they said they were Christians and that's something
neither you nor the Pope can change.

What I think he was doesn't matter it's what he said he was.
I don't think Torqamada was much of a Christian either.
