Even if true they would be new words used using conventional grammar.
New words enter the English language every year.

Thanks for that appropriate explanation. The gates of hell therefore would refer to all those who undermine Christ and as a result pollute His church. Some examples would be :
- Those who claim that the Sermon on the Mount was just another lecture from Christ about His life during the first 30 years or so and not commandments for people to follow.
- Those who twist the Matt ...[text shortened]...
Under no circumstances, as you said as well, will Christ allow these doctrines to prevail over His.
John 10:22-30 makes it perfectly clear that "those" that are of the fold are known of God and know God, and that not one will be lost.

All others will perish.

Do you think that one must not only do good works, but also have perfect understanding of all that the scriptures teach to qualify for eternal life? Do you think you know and understand everything perfectly?

Sometimes sheep get lost.

The Gates of Hell is a sculpture by Rodin.

Also, this, from Dante:

"Through me the way into the suffering city,
Through me the way to the eternal pain,
Through me the way that runs among the lost.
Justice urged on my high artificer;
My Maker was Divine authority,
The highest Wisdom, and the primal Love.
Before me nothing but eternal things
Were made, and ...[text shortened]... my ground
And I won't back down"

-- From "I Won't Back Down", from Full Moon Fever (1989)
Are you saying you think the gates of hell have a literal geographical location?

What are those gates constructed of, gofer wood? And who built them? Satan?

You're "fully aware"? When did that happen?

I suppose Satan can't pull the wool over your eyes anymore.

Those that are of the fold are the sheep of Christ, and God knows who they are and they know God. These sheep are the ones who follow the commandments of Christ, and the ones who will enter the Kingdom of God. All others will perish, yes. Nobody can judge that except Jesus himself. These are the teachings of Christ and of the Apostles.

Understanding the Bible is not a requirement for entry into the Kingdom of God. Good works and righteousness is the only necessary requirement, as Jesus plainly said.

Faith is a requirement for the ELECT of God.
Faith + good works = the chosen ones from the beginning of the world who will rule with Christ in the Kingdom age - the 1000 yr reign.

The elect are not the only ones who will get eternal life.
All who do good works and live righteously will get eternal life.

Your function as a Christian [mine too] is to promote the teachings of Christ. Many here have failed in that and have instead promoted the teachings of the church which are at odds with Christ.
