let's say we have a man who enjoys being bad, very very bad... he enjoys murdering, rape, torturing... all without any motive or reason... he merely says he enjoys it, it makes him feel alive... he was born to do it.

now, let's all agree there are - unfortunately - people on this planet that are really like this. therefore, when this man dies and is judged, and so sent to hell, to this man, won't it be his paradise..?

Probably, one of the effects of eternal damnation is that evil people will be so preoccupied with thier torments that they will be restricted from carrying out more crimes.
