It's not the religion that counts, but the personality of the individual.
There are bad christians, there are good christians, but to be christian is not a virtue in itself.

Despite some good teachings that are available elsewhere, Christianity is not a virtue because it encourages and perpetuates falsehoods. Most would agree that dishonesty is not often high up on the virtue list. Once people have drunk the cool aid it makes it easier to avoid other realities.

I don't understand the question. Christianity is a religion. It consists principally in certain shared doctrines and some claim of devotion to Jesus Christ. Virtues however pertain to human action. Doesn't this question ask for a category mistake?

As one might extract the same interrogatory content from these two questions, even though the referent of the first is a noun and not a verb:
- Is honesty a virtue?
- Is being honest virtuous?
so should you feel free to read the original question thus: Is being Christian virtuous?
