Oh dear. But it is not nasty to say I love eternal torment of the alive.

That is not a nasty accusation from you, of course. Oh no, no, no.
Why you are not capable of being nasty?

I wrote a thread - "Do I have to like everything I believe in the Bible?"
(something like that)

I think astute students of the Scripture replied "No." At least one did.

@divegeester

Do you think I’m “under the influence of demons”?

Yes, It is possible.

Why would you think it takes great courage to warn you of this?

WHY WOULD YOU THINK extraordinary courage is required to warn a Bible reader that he could be being deceived by a possible demonic teaching?

Is either one of us beyond being able to be so deceived?

It is no great courage needed by me to so warn you, only frankness.

You are warning me, a person whom you have never met, have never spoken with, other than to disagree with on the internet … that I might be “under the influence of demons”?

Yes, your might be teaching a "doctrine of demons".

Now can you tell me if the Son is NOT eternal as in "the eternal Son of God" then

How can Jesus Christ the Son of God be "the same, yes even forever?" (Hebrews 13:8)

Are you saying that He is not the same after what occurs in 1 Cor. 15:28?

And the astute response you routinely demand of others, perhaps you can practice yourself here.

It is possible that your are under the influence of a doctrine of demons.
Whether that is true or not what you teach is wrong.

Now the prophecy in Isaiah 9:6 says the "Son . . . given to us" will be called "Eternal Father".

"for a child is born to us, A Son is given to us;
And the government is upon His shoulder;
And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

To the increase of His government and to His peace there is no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To establish it and tp uphold it in justice and righteousness
From now to eternity.
The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will accomplish this." (Isaiah 9:6,7)

Are you saying that the Son is called Eternal Father but is not going to be eternal ?

A. Yes (?)
B. No (?)
C. Not sure how to answer (?)

-Removed-
Squabbling over concepts and verbiage is probably not what you should be doing at your level of understanding. Time to move on up.

You say No.

But "One like the Son of Man" (Rev. 1:13a) says:

"I am the First and the Last and the living One; and I became dead, and behold, I am living forever and ever . . . "(Rev. 1:18)

You teach this "One like the Son of Man" will not live forever and ever.
He says ". . . behold, I am living forever and ever; and I have the keys of death and of Hades."

Divegeester:
No.

You go ahead and believe in a temporary Son of God / a temporary Son of Man.
I'll believe in the Son who is the First and the Last and from death and resurrection lives forever and ever.
