@ghost-of-a-duke saidA deist would still have no problem admitting God is there.
@chaney3
ToO is a Deist, not an atheist.
Atheism (like theism) requires a resolute mind.

@chaney3 saidThis thread is about ThinkOfOne.
Admit your atheism.
You refuse to answer simple questions, for only one reason, you're an atheist.
What's puzzling, is why you care about what Jesus said.
If he doesn't reply, he has lost my respect.
I started this thread shortly after he was active in this forum.
Man? Or coward?

@divegeester saidIt's what I'm sticking with, until ToO denies it. (Which so far he has declined to do).
How do you know this?
Technically (I speculate) he is a 'Christian deist,' in that he views the words of Jesus as profound (and seeks to follow his teachings) while stopping short of crediting him with any divinity. (Which is why he won't comment on Jesus saying he was sent by God). He probably has some wishy-washy concept of an undefined and unknowable divine being.
Of course, speculation would be unnecessary, if ToO just answered a few simple questions put to him.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidWhy though?

Is he denying God?
A deist believes in God.
@chaney3 saidHe certainly has stripped away the divinity of Jesus, but where has he denied the existence of a God?

Was Jesus sent by God?
He has a problem with this.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidWho denies God?
@chaney3
Alas, only ToO can answer that.
Only atheists.
So ToO is an atheist.

I suspect ThinkOfOne is an atheist.
Perhaps he is an atheist who enjoys some kind of clerical authority in some religious hierarchy.
Perhaps it is better for him to be obscure about his atheism in order to continue in his position.
Or some other reason makes concealment of his atheism advantageous to him in some way.
There are atheist pastors and clergyman who would lose their positions if too much of their unbelief in God was manifested.
I could be wrong about his motives.
But if anyone knows what he means by "during His ministry" as pertains to Jesus Christ, remind me of what he meant IF he explained it.
