I believe I have seen the Army of God one you mention. That's the one about wacko Christians who think it is righteous to terrorize abortion clinics and and kill abortion doctors, right?

If you liked Fireproof, I think you would like Zack and Miri Make a Porno. It deals with some of the same themes of facing adversity.

See Dogma. It makes some entertaining theological points.
