Oh? So you concede that it's true for most of you?

So what do YOU think happens when you die? Can you not handle the concept that there is just nothing?

What next life?

What if there's no death? I guess you would just be left with your self for some eternity. Now that would be hell!

Hi Scott, you know nothing really dies it only changes forms! Right? Isn't that the scientific view?

That's not entirely true. Life is hard enough to define, an object requires to fulfill a number of criteria to be considered alive. If it changes from fulfilling all of these to not fulfilling all these conditions that is called death.

a guy came up to me and said "would you give me $40 if i died?".

i said, " bro, if you died i'd give you $80".

he, "well... give me the money"

me, "you have to die first"

he, "give me the money"

me, " well, hurry up and die"
So your point is that no one can know what happens after they die until they do. In which case, all this "heaven" and "hell" stuff is mere speculation. Thank you for splendidly illustrating my point.

Well what part is true? So let's say that a man is full of life and has met the criteria as stated. Just for the sake of argument. He dreams, he has imagination, he believess, as demonstrated by his actions. He changes from fulfilling these conditions. Could a man be spiritually dead?

If you stick a knife through his heart he will quickly become physically dead. He will stop responding to environmental stimulli, he no longer consume energy. He will lose structural complexity. His brain will cease to function. The energy, in the form of chemical energy in his body will disipate.

You will have to define "spiritually alive / dead" for me to make any judgement on your question, I am afraid.
