Cherrying picking is selecting some passage out of the context of the rest of the Bible to make it mean what you want, even if the rest of scripture disagrees. You think adding to and taking away from the rest of the Bible is an acceptable act; it is one forbidden by God.

-Removed-I've given that to you. You are just not seeing it. The Word of God is not in conflict with itself, period. Reading it, you will never see God lying. He is not a God of confusion, so the whole will agree with itself. When we take parts out and make them mean something that disagrees with the rest, we look to the whole to make sure what we are seeing is accurate. We need to conform to the Word; otherwise, we make the Word conform to us. This is a fundamental truth of scripture, so it must be studied, not have bits and pieces selected that we like while ignoring the rest.
