@bigdoggproblem saidThere is no reason why anybody is here, we are all just one big evolutionary and biological accident.
I must admit, I don't know why I am here.
Does anyone?
@bigdoggproblem saidWhy does there need to be an answer to the question "Why?" If you really think there must be a "reason" that can and should be articulated, then maybe you should look into the various religions to offer you an "answer".
Does anyone?
Whatever the circumstances of our origin, and without any convincing information about a creator being having contacted us with an answer to the "Why?" question, I think life is a wonderful [albeit finite] opportunity to explore ourselves and our environment and to enable our successors to do the same. I'm loving it, ups and downs and all.
Asking the "Why?" question is all very well and good, but I personally don't think spending too much of this finite opportunity's timespan is the best way to proceed.
@indonesia-phil saidBut there could be.

My reasoning mind tells me so.
It is both a big opportunity, and terrifying prospect.
@bigdoggproblem saidAs an atheist, why do you care?
I must admit, I don't know why I am here.
Does anyone?
@bigdoggproblem saidWhy not be here .
I must admit, I don't know why I am here.
