i went to the dite "godhatesfags.com" with the intention of reading what it is about for myself. needless to say, as someone who has been brought up in a loving Christain family, i found the site rather hilarious. especially,

"THE SODOMITES' ONLY HOPE IS TO HAVE THE UNAMBIGUOUS TRUTH PREACHED TO THEM, AND PERHAPS GOD WILL SOFTEN THEIR HEARTS AND GRANT THEM REPENTANCE TO DEPART FROM THEIR SIN AND NAME THE NAME OF CHRIST. NOT VERY LIKELY, THOUGH, SINCE GOD HAS GIVEN THEM UP."

    and the link to,

    godhatessweden.com

whe did God ever display hatred? when in the new testament does he have conditions for his love? "for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son." that says world in there. not Christains. not "good people". only God is good. i was reading an article on tony campolo yesterday, the former spiritual advisor for bill clinton. it mentioned some of the critisism he received for holding the post, specifically someone saying that "this man does not deserve the grace of God". i'm gonna stick my neck out here and say that these people who started this web site do not deserve the grace of God. neither do "fags". neither does tony campolo. neither do i. but that doesn't stop him from giving my his grace, from loving me.

love is patient, love is kind. it always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perceveirs. love never fails. (1st corintians 13)

God is Love incarnate. God is patient, God is kind. He always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perceveirs. God never fails.

God doesn't hate fags! he can't hate fags! he might hate their actions, but he loves the people still!

Let me add my voice in concurrence that this (godhates...) approach is inherently wrong, misguided, and a perversion of Christ's teachings. There must be a method to their madness, but for the life of me, I can't see it.

you ask when does god display hatred .... of all that is sinfull, evil and turns man away from god. the flood wether true or not was a example of his hatred. so he will judge man on his earthly ways. the lambs will be washed clean and to peaceful etrnity. But your reference to sodomy, is true but as he said to the jews, i will give you a land of milk and honey not because you are good but they are more sinful, and i will forfill my promise. so just because im hetro-straight guy does not get me a free ticket to the grace of god.

he sent the flood out of hate for those people? or, perhaps, hate for their ways?

Are we assuming God sends floods now to punish people He doesn't like? If so, can you tell me why he chose Sri Lanka, Phuket and New Orleans and not Paris, Berlin and London? Was it easier for him to make the water move into coastal areas?

Erm... Aren't you assuming the floods in Sri Lanka, Phuket, New Orleans and countless other places were actually judgements from God?

I'm trying to establish if He did in fact send the floods as Genius says quote "sent for [hatred of the people] or [hatred of their ways]". Because if he did then there must have been just cause and reason for the actions if He so did. Actions are taken through 'judgement', be the judgement right or wrong.

...and the cause and reason is the hatred for their ways, and it's the flood ala Noah that i'm talking about...

although i don't really know what you are asking/what point you are trying to make. can you try making yourself a bit clearer?...😛

Does a judge sentence a person to death/castration/public humiliation/forced wearing of frogstomp's avatar, because he hates the criminal?

Yes, this puts everything in perspective...

Actions are taken through 'judgement', be the judgement right or wrong.
