Not angry.

Do you know what "the traitor within" means, as a biblical concept?

It is interesting. If you're of a mind to know.

No. I kinda need a non-biblical reference. I like zeus and shiva too. They are all worth about the same.

Well then, don't get riled.

Ignorance is bliss.

Causes me wonder how you can know what you need.

Nothing is the same when you know.

Not everyone is christian. I suppose gods are strong enough not to depend on existing in only a particular region.

I'm not afraid of the traitor "within" anymore. I am sanctified in the blood of my Savior. He lends me strength. He has sent the Comforter.

It's the traitor "without" that I have a problem with.

The Bible boils it down to the flesh, the devil and the world.

The lust of the eyes, the pride of life and the lust of the flesh.

The concept is enumerated throughout scripture.

I appreciate your comment about sanctification. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus' substitutionary death on the cross, and sanctified by the "washing of water by the word", and then finally glorified when we appear before Him face to face.

The ultimate family reunion. See you there. 🙂

We fight 'from' victory. We lose a lot of battles, but the war is already won.

Do you not think 'free will' could negate Revelation?

Why would man freely follow the script laid out within it?

Yes, it's true. But there are a lot of innocents here still dying, taken by that traitor "without".

I understand that this world is just a testing ground, a waypoint. Eternity lies elsewhere, elsewhen. But many who are innocent still lose their lives before they are won. Someone must stand for them.

My answer:

No. It could, but it won't. And because he (man, as a plural entity) doesn't believe.

Individuals can only change their own fate within the events coming, through faith.

Many will be fooled, and follow evil through their free will choice. Others exercising their own free will choice will not concede, will not be used, will not be owned, and they will lose their lives, but they will gain eternity.

If you allow for the possibility, how can you speak against it with such finality?

<<“The man who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones.”>>

Jesus’ way is quicker:

“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”

(Matthew 17:20)
