It's the second best, but South Africa's chase of 434 was just ridiculous!

I'm not a better but those odds could be good for NZ after last night:

    http://home.nzcity.co.nz/news/default.aspx?id=70561

NZ chased down 347 to beat the Aussies and take them out 3-0 in the Chappell Haddlee series... of course they say they were tired and it isn't an important series lol.

McMillan set up the win smashing 117, posting the fastest New Zealand one day century in 67 balls

Edit PS.. sorry re record post.. .. Love the banter.. but The aussies take their ego's a bit far too often.. I sincerely hope they get thrashed (pref by several teams) and I for one honestly don't mind who does it. They need to learn some sporting manners and humility.

NZ looks like a far better bet.

    1. The beat the aussies by 10 wickets
    2. They chase 336 successfully
    3. They chase 346 successfully

What more can you ask for from a ODI side?
    Q. How is SA now the best ODI side. Shouldn't it be the team that beat the best? - England or New Zealand

Well done to my sheep shagging trans-Tasman friends.

Not to take anything away from the Kiwis, i will merely mention that our team was noticeably absent of quite a few first choice players.

Good on the Kiwi's who came, saw and kicked butt.
3 nil is a great result cos they also did the hard yards earlier in the summer.
    (Grumble grumble)
Runs obviously no problem so it must be the bowling department right?

    Bowling O M R W Econ
    NW Bracken 9.3 0 44 1 4.63 (3w)
    SW Tait 10 0 60 2 6.00 (3w)
    MG Johnson 10 0 81 3 8.10 (2w)
    SR Watson 10 88 2 8.80 (1nb, 1w)
    GB Hogg 7 0 40 0 5.71 (1w)
    AC Voges 3 0 33 0 11.00

What the hell is Watson doing bowling? Yes he scored 68, but he gave away 88 bowling! What is he even doing in the team?
Johnson is a Brett Lee wannabe who can hurtle the ball down at 160 kph. Usefull you might think, but useless you have no line and length. Back to the nets with Lillie for you or have we sold his services overseas again?
Voges?? Who the hell is Voges? And what is he doing bowling?
We also gave away 12 extra balls ( 1 no ball and 11 wides! Ptooie)
Yes Gillespie and Patel were plastered also for 83 and 70 respectively but there were only 2 no balls and 1 wide the whole innings.
Now i've had my dummy spit, i'll go have a chocolate milk enema and a good lie down!
Congrats the Kiwis and if they, England and South Africa can carry this form, will be a great world cup.
Yes Crowley, i can hear you laughing from over here!

    😉

    lol ditto!!
Several of the front line were rested from the kiwi squad in Bond and Vettorri we gave you a head start of 4 wickets and still came through..
There is absolutely always an excuse from Australians when they lose.
If the game didn't matter to you and your best wanted a holiday don't cry about it when you take a thrashing and look like chumps... sack some b''''std (like we always do) ;-)

I think we all know who the real favourite is for the cup

Lol re Crowley grinning quietly about being rated #1 we'll all (both ditch cussies) enjoy a grin with him..it is their moment.
