mixed martial arts is so popular in US right now and boxing is getting lower (both at pro levels and am levels) that id say England is better even though i dont know who they have
edit: but if you were to compare MMA fighters id say US #1, Brazil #2, and a large dropoff after that
And boxing is boring. Let's jab at each other for 6 rounds.
who is the best all around fighter in the world right now??
couture? hes old but smart.. im not up on things right now but a year ago today id say it might be him.. as already said rampage is very good..
i think its impossible to answer a boxer as a guy like randy takes them down, ground and pound and submits them with ease.. weve known just boxing cant do it alone since 1993, which is when people started slowly losing interest im guessing
Originally posted by larry newellI think Teofilo Stevens could have been one of the greatest professional boxers ever, but unfortunately he was Cuban and never got the chance to fight a professional fight because he was property of the state. Ali was a great champion, but he missed many years of his prime due to his suspension for failing to join the Army. Either way, I guess he would have missed those years during his career. I haven't followed too much professional boxing during the last 20 years because so much of it is crooked. These days I watch more mixed martial arts and UFC.
Is American boxers the best in the world
or just some weight classes get dominated
Mike Tyson American vs John L Sullivan
Englishmen would be a great fight in any era!
my money still on Tyson!
