My worst experience with football was WC España 82.
Brasil had a "dream team":
Valdir Perez; Leandro, Oscar, Luisinho, Júnior;
Toninho Cerezzo, Falcão, Sócrates, Zico; Serginho, Éder.
In the quarterfinals, Argentina (78 champions) and Itália
(a lost team).
1st game: Brasil 3 x 1 Argentina (Maradona didn´t see the ball).
2nd game: Itália 2 x 1 Argentina.
With the draw against Itália, the Brazilian team would be champion.
Suddenly, Paolo Rossi & Co. started to play football... The rest is
history.
Please, post your nightmare in World Cups.

The scottish football team contained players that were world class, completely different from today's Scotland. They were absolutely destroyed.
But those Italians, on the rare occasions they are underdogs they are in heaven.
But that's the beauty of footie 😉
Take last night's game for example... who could have guessed
Getafe was beating 4-0 the mighty Barcelona, in a 2nd leg after a
5-2 in the 1st match, and now they'll play the Copa del Rey against
Sevilla?!?!
And Real Madrid, also, with that horrible football of Capello, may win
La Liga to Barcelona, particularly now when they are heartbroken.
Football is gorgeous, exactly because of that.

Yeah, he played a mouth watering football with those 2 passes.
They will get it, I think. My worries are now with Atletico de Madrid, though. I have a lot of sympathy for the coach and want them to get
into European competitions, but they will play Getafe today, which
recently kicked Barca 4-0
Damn it.
Originally posted by SeitseYou watch Madrid regularly, how would you assess Beckham's contribution? His England performances have definitely dipped since he has been a Madrid player.

lol, oh well, Becks went to Madrid to end his career, so I am not surprised he went down and down. The fact that lately he is doing great again is, in my opinion, the boost of going to the Galaxy and wanting to win at least something. But he is in decline and that's how Madrid go it, don't you think?
I think he left what he had to: Image and t-shirt selling... and the seldom genius passing. Not more.

At Man Utd he was supremely fit as well. Fergie said he was the fittest player he ever ever had and he has worked with many outstandingly fit players.
He had seemed to have lost his ability to get up and down as much.

Do we have a living testimony writing about Netherlands in WC 1974?
Rinus Michels´ pupils destroyed 3 ex world champions (Uruguai,
Argentina and Brasil) and didn´t win the Cup...
