The other problem is that even when one of the two Sheffield clubs is more successful than Leeds (which isn't that unusual) people still think of Leeds being a bigger club. It must be a bit galling to be overshadowed by a club in a lower division.
been in a lower league because of financial reasons, doesnt make either of the sheffield teams more successful than leeds. has either of these teams played in a europen cup, cup winners cup, ibter city fairs cup finals. never mind a champions league semi final. leeds is by far the biggest of these 3 clubs.

Being old enough to remember football from the 70s, i have to say Leeds are 'one of the big' teams in english football. that i am afried is a fact... which many just do not want to acknowledge
