My opinion: IC is the only way to show the best team of the world. The actual system is the best, too, but it´s necessary to change the country to base the matches every year, with on a rota basis between the continents.

The Club World Championship is ok, but its very nature prevents it from being a major event. It's a pity, but I don't see how its profile could be raised. It'll always be a smaller cup like the Community Shield or equivalent Supercups (Cup winner vs League winner).

As long as it keeps a low profile, it can't be the best way to establish the best team in the world.
