Q: Por quê Libertadores de América?

R: Porque o troféu é um tributo aos maiores líderes (libertadores) do continente:
Simon Bolívar
Dom Pedro I
José de San Martín

Bernardo O'Higgins? Didn't he run the Pizzeria-Chip-Shop-and-Stout-Pub just off St. Stephen's Green?

Oh, no, O'Higgins didn't.

That one of the Pizzeria was Mauricio de Nassau...

Nah, he ran the ones on the Bahamas and in the Indian Ocean, not the one in Dublin. I do think one of his successors did one near Drogheda, though, but that wasn't Mauricio, that was Billy da Laranja.

In the 1st round, Santos F.C. did a bad campaign.

Then, the Belmiro Village Boys (os Meninos da Vila Belmiro) were wonderful! The stars: Neymar, Paulo Henrique Ganso and Elano.

Now, we'll see Santos F. C. x Barcelona, a great game in Japan!

Neymar x Messi;
Ganso x Xavi;
Elano x Iniesta...
