I can assure you very few care.
That match generated near a half BILLION dollars and the fighters were supposed to split 200 mil but they actually got to split more like 300 MILLION. Doesn't sound TOO dead to me. Not that I personally would pay the ridiculous 100 bucks to watch it on pay per view. Screw that! 5 bucks, that would be one thing. A hundred? Forget itπ
It was a poor fight, poor advertisement for boxing, so much hype was promised but then quickly defused once Mayweather started his usual boring routine.
Didn't stop me putting £40 on his winning by decision tho π
Oh, and I'll tell you one more thing...you got an all out prizefight, you wait 'till the fight's over, one guy's left standing...and THAT'S how you know who won.

Eh. Dead, dying, punching someone into the grave... prize-fighting never was a sport in the first place.
Many people do care. But then, they also care about Theatre "Wrestling" and Whatever Idol. That doesn't mean that the latter is art, or either of the former a sport.
