    I think Charlton saked Dowie because they wanted to stay in the Premiership. Quite clearly that wasn't about to happen.

    As a Crewe fan I should know more than anybody about giving a manager a chance, but Liverpool persisted with Houllier and are doing so with Benitez, basically meaning another ten years without a league title.

    Sometimes you just gotta sack 'em.

    Supposed we just have to live with winning the CL and FA cups for a few more years..

    Oh well!!!!!!

    Yep, you'll have to live with the memory of your flukey victory in the CL for many years to come, as this will be the last time you will even qualify for the CL for a long time!
