...or so says Jon-Dahl Tommason

Liedson, Deco and Pepe all lived long enough in Portugal to be given Portuguese nationality. Any Brazilian-born living in Portugal that has lived for as long as they have, has the right to be granted Portuguese citizenship.

Our legislation doesn't treat of anybody with the Portuguese nationality as being a second-class citizen. Sadly, Jon-Dahl Tommason believes that Portugal should treat its citizens differently, depending on where they were born.

"We do not do that in Denmark, or in the rest of Scandinavia, compared to what happens in the southern European countries."
Well, if you don't treat nationalized citizens equally, then you should.

I also wonder if JDT feels that Wilson Kipketer is a second-class Dane.
