#3 Louisville vs. #13 Rutgers (BCS Rankings) on Thursday

    2 Questions:

    1. If Louisville can beat Rutgers decisively (and win the remaining games in their schedule) should they get a bid?

    2. Did anyone predict that Rutgers would be 8-0 at this point?!?

    1. Yes, provided they run the table
    2. No...I'm an RU grad, but never expected this

I don't agree that Michigan should get another shot at Ohio State for the national title if their upcoming game is close. Both Michigan and Ohio State need to look at their upcoming game as THE national championship game... chances are, whoever comes out of that one will win the national championship...but a rematch...nah...this is their shot, coming up. Period. No second chances.

If Rutgers wins and goes undefeated they will have had a historic year, but I am far more impressed with going through the SEC with only one loss. So although I agree that the loser of the Michigan -Ohio State game will not play for a national championship, I don't think that being undefeated is all one should look at. After all, Boise State is undefeated too.
