yes, overpaid sportmen who are getting paid loads to compete in the ryder cup... oh wait, no actually - they're not getting paid anything.

they probably get paid more from future sponsership deals for taking part in the ryder cup than touraments. like most sport golf is ruined by the money men.

au, i missed out the 'future' part of your message. thought you meant they earned more from sponsorship deals during this ryder cup than they do for playing in other tournaments.

well, they're in the ryder cup because they're the best golfers in the world, they usually get a lot of sponsorship deals regardless of whether they're in the ryder cup or not. not as well known players like flower might earn more from it but i doubt the rest of them will earn a huge amount more from sponsorship deals for playing in the ryder cup than they would normally. so, no i still don't agree with you.

do you really think the 24 players care about any money they might or might not earn from playing in the ryder cup? i doubt it, they're all multi-millionaires and this is imo the only golf tournament were no one is worrying about money, only winning. that's what makes it the best golf tournament in the world and i honestly don't care what you think about it - don't like it, don't watch it.

some very good points, i agree with most of them, i would rather watch paint dry than any golf. thanks for showing me the error of my ways without personal insults as many do on this site. if you are a horse racing fan i have a tip for tomorrow meant to be unbeatable, heard that before, last 2 tips i got from my source won at 25/1 and 4/1.
